  • EpiPen 0.3 mg for 30 kg and over; ask about EpiPen Jr for 15 to 30 kg
  • Behind the counter: no prescription needed to buy
  • Reviewed, dispensed and shipped by a licensed Canadian pharmacy
  • Carry two, as anaphylaxis guidelines recommend
  • Pairs with the ResQBand Thermal Carry and Locate tracker

The auto-injector most Canadians know, available here directly. EpiPen is a behind-the-counter medication: add it to your cart and it is dispensed and shipped by our licensed Canadian pharmacy partner, with a pharmacist reviewing every order and calling if anything needs confirming, such as the right strength for a child. Canadian pricing is a fraction of what Americans pay: south of the border a brand-name 2-pack averages about US$715 without insurance according to GoodRx. Fits the ResQBand Thermal Carry, and the ResQBand Card gives a helper the auto-injector steps at a tap.

What's in the box

  • EpiPen or EpiPen Jr auto-injector, per the pharmacist's confirmation
  • Pharmacy counselling by phone if requested

Questions

Do I need a prescription?

No. Epinephrine auto-injectors are behind-the-counter medications, and our pharmacy partner dispenses every order under a pharmacist's review. Insurance plans usually want a prescription on file to reimburse you.

Who ships it?

Our licensed Canadian pharmacy partner dispenses and ships it directly, and the pharmacist calls if anything needs confirming. For EpiPen Jr, add a note in the insurance request form or call us and the pharmacist will set it up.

Which strength do I need?

That is a call for your prescriber or the pharmacist, based on weight: EpiPen Jr for roughly 15 to 30 kg, EpiPen at 30 kg and over.

How do I pay less for epinephrine?

Send us your insurance card with the request and we bill your plan directly where we can; many private plans and some provincial programs cover auto-injectors, and coverage for children varies by province. Carrying two is recommended, and replacing before the printed expiry beats replacing after a scare, so note the date when your pens arrive. If cost is a barrier, say so in the request notes; the pharmacist will walk through what is available, including whether an alternative device or strength changes the price.

Why is this cheaper than prices I see online?

The scary numbers are usually American. In the US a brand-name EpiPen 2-pack averages about US$715 without insurance and even the generic runs about US$345, per GoodRx. Canadian retail pricing is set differently and is far lower; the pharmacist confirms your exact price before you pay anything.

Two ways to carry epinephrine

EpiPen or neffy: the honest comparison.

EpiPen

neffy

How it is given

Injection into the outer thigh; works through clothing.

One spray into one nostril; nothing to inject.

Strengths in Canada

EpiPen Jr 0.15 mg for roughly 15 to 30 kg; EpiPen 0.3 mg for 30 kg and over.

2 mg single-use spray for adults and children 30 kg and over.

Second dose

After 5 minutes if needed, with a new auto-injector.

After 5 minutes if needed, with a new neffy in the same nostril.

Track record

Decades of use; familiar to schools, camps and paramedics.

Approved by Health Canada in April 2026; needle-free, which some people find easier to use quickly.

Both contain the same medication and treat anaphylaxis. Whichever you carry: carry two, protect them from heat and cold, and call 911 after any dose. Which one is right for you is a conversation with your allergist, and our pharmacy partner dispenses both; see the request flow. Download this comparison to share.
